For the past four years, I served as Member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers, the last two also as Chief Economist for the President’s Invest in America Cabinet. Prior to that, I co-founded and then led the Washington Center for Equitable Growth, a non-profit research and grant-making organization. Currently, I am a senior research fellow at the Reimagining the Economy Project at the Harvard Kennedy School.
